Home Invasion, Sexual Assault Near Algonquin Rd and Algonquin Pkwy, Rolling Meadows

Rolling Meadows Police are looking for a man they say forced himself into a home and sexually assaulted a victim.

Rolling Meadows police issued an alert to residents Friday, July 7, 2017 regarding a home invasion and sexual assault that occurred in the area of Algonquin Road and Algonquin Parkway during the early morning hours of July 1, 2017. The precise time (near dawn or near midnight) was not specified.

According to Rolling Meadows, the male suspect knocked on the victim’s front door. When the victim opened the door, the offender forced himself inside and sexually assaulted the victim. Residences in the area of Rolling Meadows are 3-story apartment buildings.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5’0″ to 5’1″ tall and weighing about 160 pounds.

In the alert, police advised residents not to open their doors until they verified the person outside is safe to enter.

Police also advise residents not to allow entry if they do not recognize the person.

Police also recommend residents call 911 regarding any suspicious people near their homes.
