SUV Veers Off Meadow Ln, Crashes into Tree at Kimball Hill School; 3 Injured in Rolling Meadows

SUV vs Tree Crash at Kimball Hill School on Meadow Lane, Rolling Meadows.

Rolling Meadows police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:22 PM Saturday November 11, 2017 to a report of an SUV vs tree crash at Kimball Hill Elementary School, 2905 Meadow Lane Rolling Meadows, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that of a crash with a tree involving at least three injured people. A small SUV hit a tall pine tree, and snapped off the top half of the pine tree. A street sign was also sheared at the base, and thrown about 30 yards.

At least two females were injured, and a third person was injured (gender not immediately available). A fourth occupant in the small SUV was initially not reporting any injury.

A second ambulance was requested by 3:26 p.m.

A total of three ambulances and an extra engine were requested by 3:27 p.m.

A total of three patients were transported to Northwest Community Hospital.

The occupants in the vehicle were lucky that the upper part of the tree fell in a forward direction of the vehicle, instead of a backward direction onto the SUV.
